New Material Industry
Application of new materials in valve manufacturing and its influence on valve performance :
1. Superalloys and corrosion resistant materials : In the aerospace industry, valve performance and safety are of Paramount importance. The high temperature, high pressure, corrosion resistance and other excellent properties of the new material can greatly improve the service life and stability of the valve. For example, valves for liquid cooling systems used in aircraft engines are often made of superalloys and corrosion-resistant materials .
2. High temperature resistant alloy : in the field of nuclear power, valves need to adapt to extreme conditions such as high radiation, high temperature and high pressure. Valves made of new materials can better adapt to these extreme conditions, such as the commonly used oil seal check and cut-off valves in nuclear power plants are often made of zr706 superalloy, gh2132 steel and other high temperature resistant new materials .
3. Corrosion-resistant material : In the field of Marine engineering, valves are subjected to the severe test of seawater corrosion and Marine environment. New materials such as tantalum alloy, zr702, etc. have corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and seawater erosion resistance, suitable for offshore platform construction and offshore drilling platform .
4. High strength material : In the field of new energy, valves need to ensure efficient operation. The properties of the new material such as high strength, pressure resistance and wear resistance can ensure the efficient operation of the valve of the hydraulic control system of the wind turbine .
